Don't get me wrong, Elliot is athletic, but not compared to the likes of Holmes and Scott county and several other teams.You can't say if Elliot gets drilled tomorrow that SC and Holmes, and many other teams would get beat just the same, Their athleticism could make a difference, so to say what you said is a little far fetched.

Well, since this is Elliot County, and despite the fact this is the 64th ranked team in the country, I have done some research and found out that Texas teams are tradionally inferior to Kentucy Teams and this Texas team would not be top twenty in Kentucky. The national ranking was done by a guy in Texas and he has not seen any Kentucky teams from Lexington or Louisville play. Elliot needs to play someone before I will jump on the bandwagon.

I'm not sure anyone in the Beach Ball Classic would come within ten points of a 7th region or 11th region team!

I've been watching some of this tournament (Pennsbury, PA vs Fayette Co. GA)

and noticed the 3 point line being college range. The announcers said it was farther out and was giving team's problems.

I wonder if this is gonna cause Elliott to have problems, since that's their style of play for the most part?

Nobody is saying Elliott isn't a quality team but IF THEY ARE, they will compete against this team tomorrow. The rest of the state is not going to guarantee them a spot in the state final four because they can score 100 points against lesser quality teams!!

 

Play someone, win or lose but compete, and respect will come!!

It looks like the only competition you face all year in state will be in the all-A tourney? It seems like it would only help when it comes tourney time since it looks like winning the 16th is a foregone conclusion.
