Manual's struggles continue without Jenkins. These types of losses just go to show how valuable he is to them.

Difficult to consider Manual an elite team in light of recent games. Granted, they'll be much improved when Jenkins returns...but how many one-man teams win state, or even their region? In the 7th????

Even when he returns, will he really be 100% for a while? How will the layoff affect his production when he returns? Will he be more injury-prone?

Even if he does return 100% with no re-injuries, etc., this illustrates what Manual will be like in games where Jenkins might get in foul trouble.

Congrats to the Wildcats (nice start to the season!) and good luck to the Crimsons! It's always a bummer to see your star on the sideline! Here's hoping he can come back 100% soon!!!

A one-man team could win the 8th region, don't you think?

Have you seen North Oldham and Anderson County? In a word, no.

Let's see. Manual was 9 - 2 without Kimbro including 2 - 0 against top 20 teams.

And that was also when Aaron Williams was around, right?

Bottom line ... Kimbro's absence probably hurts just as much as Jenkins' does. It's a big reason Manual isn't the favorite in the 7th Region.

That Sloan for Waggener is diminutive but a very good player.

Waggener's off to a terrific start. Worth keeping an eye on.
