Any word on the Boyd-Elliott game?

 

Game is on for tonight. Got word from 2 of the player's parents about 45 minutes ago.

Covington Scott @ Covington Holy Cross is cancelled.

Owensboro @ Daviess County cancelled 12/16

LCA @ Madison Central has also been cancelled.

the Boyd Co. vs. Elliot Co. game is still on.

I believe the Rose Hill bus just left for West Liberty. I think some of these other schools overreacted. If you can get to West Liberty, you can get most other places.

They may not be overreacting. I just heard that the roads are ice in South Point Oh and that there is a 12 car wreck in front of Sams.

Boone vs. Campbell County is cancelled.

 

I do not see the cancellations of games as overracting. Why would a school even want to risk the chance of not only the staff and refs safety but the kids and their families? It really is not necessary.

Perry County Central @ Leslie County has been canceled.

As a former coach & referee and still a parent of a high school player you always react to the safety of everyone. I have driven home some nights that I wish I had not left the house!
