Knox Central 73 Corbin 64

Featured Replies

Cody Miller has 28.

Corbin shoots 2-of-18 in the fourth quarter and only hit two three-pointers in the game.

It might be a upset but not a big one Knox Central is pretty good.

Central is better than I thought.

Miller took over tonight in the fourth quarter.

Both teams were in foul trouble most of the game.

Corbin will be fine.

I agree. Better a wake up call now than in post season.

You also won't win very many games shooting 2 for 18 in the final quarter.

 not many

Great win for KC, I knew Miller was the real deal, his running mates have stepped up their games as well. 2for18 shooting in the 4th for Corbin really killed them, KC defense had something to do with the poor shooting, fun game to watch.

Two Words for the 13th Region.........South Laurel.

I would think Coach P will have some good practices to get the attention of the Hounds. Central outplayed the Hounds and deserved the win. Good Job Panthers.

Corbin remains the team to beat Bubba. One loss doesn't make a season. You know that.

My brother in law was also on that team - Henson - the loss to Wayne that year really bothered him. Corbin will be fine. A loss like this could be a blessing in disguise.

Wow really surprised to see this outcome considering Corbin returned so much from last year. I'm really looking forward to seeing KC take on Holmes next Friday down at Bryan Station. Might be a better game than I originally thought.

Miller is a really nice player. They also have a very good freshman poing guard I hear named Broughton I believe.

Knox Central has some kids(Messer, Ledford & Canady, along with Miller) who stepped up and made big shots when it appeared that Corbin was in control. They hung around staying within 4-7 points and Corbin could not put them away, then they were able to tie it up with about 4:00 left and I'm not sure if Corbin hit another basket. Corbin has not shot well in the second halves of their games, not sure if it's lack of stamina, focus or adjustments from the opponents, but they better change that trend or it's going to be a disappointing season. Good win for KC!
