I am going to take Beechwood. Dixie is going to struggle this year and Beechwood is a very solid and well coached team.

 

Even with Trammel returning Beechwood by 10....65-55

Beechwood is a VERY solid team. I expect Romes and Beuttel to be the two best players on the floor. Look for Smith to get going in this one against a much smaller Dixie team.

Should this be a rivalry, perhaps. Is it? No. I cannot recall Beechwood ever competing with Dixie. I know they used to be in the same district but Dixie always pounded Beechwood. That being said, Beechwood has one of their better squads, while Dixie cannot say the same. I still will take the Colonels by 3.

Dixie should have everyone saturday with Trammel coming back, dixie will stay close but lose by 10+, just like the other games they have played.

Dixie unfortunately will turn into one of those teams we all look for to see if the 7th grader hit the box score. Sad but true.
