December 13, 200817 yr Author In actuality, Harrell put up better numbers than all 3 of the others. Depends on what stats you're looking at. His passer rating was worse than all 3 of theirs, he had 104 more completions than Bradford yet Bradford threw 7 more touchdowns than him and Harrell also averaged less yards per attempt than Bradford. Harrell's completion percentage was also worse than McCoy's.

I'm with the Tech coach on Harrell being snubbed. And yet he barely had more yards than Bradford. Somebody had to get snubbed this year for it to be narrowed down to 3. Is he a great QB? Yes, but I don't think he deserves the Heisman so I can sleep comfortably knowing that he won't win it.

There was no reason to weed it down to 3 - as many as 6 has been invited in the past.
