Quality? Ehh I guess it's on the fence of being considered quality but yes he did play SOME time his sophomore year. Maybe at the most 8 minutes a game.

I don't think Hicks was the coach in 2003, when Conner beat CCH at CCH. Was Hicks' first year 2004? Pretty sure he was an assistant before he became the head coach, but my memory is a little foggy...

 

The last time that Conner beat CCH was in '05. CCH beat them early in the season & Conner knocked them out of the regional tournament in the 1st round with a win @ Conner.

 

CCH had handed the Cougars some pretty ugly losses in the meantime, until tonight.

True, but Covcath is really down this year and Conner is actually a pretty solid team. They could very well be top 5 in the 9th.

Not sure I agree with all the comments on needing to figure out who is going to play and the combinations etc. Didn't CCH go to all the team summer camps etc? Could it be they are just not that talented? I don't know because I have not seen them play this year.
