Well said but I still say not Boone or Ryle goes into the fieldhouse and does the same. Atleast not at this point in the season. The top 5 in the 9th are all pretty equal though.

 

I think Highlands, Boone, and Ryle will all be pretty close and all three could beat each other at any given time. The 2010 class is strong at each school, and this class has been very competitive between these schools all the way back into middle school.

Yes, and I believe Ockerman (Boone) finished 3rd that same year.

ER, Maybe he wouldn't be so underrated if you would quit touting those Holmes studs every step ! LOL Actually, Kowolonek has developed nicely and is actually a very young Jr. .....the best is yet to come. It is nice to see someone break into the Holmes/Boone all-star lineup though !

 

Hey I've been saying since last year that Kowolonek was one of the top 5 players in nky for his class. I might be somewhat of a Holmes basketball homer because of my family ties to the program, but I'm still a Bluebird at heart. You need to check out my location.

I'd agree with this but I'd have Kowlonek and J.Johnson as a tie for third. They are very similar players with Johnson having a little more size at 6'4.

:thumb: If Steve K had the same size as JJ I'd probably give the edge to him between the two. He is a very good defender as well. Both are very good players though and will cause problems for any player they go up against over the next two years.

I just love seeing all the excuses when Mason County loses.

I know, someone reiterated like 3 times that they were without two of their starters. Many are giving credit to the Birds though for the win so I think 98% have been gracious losers.

Who made it seem like that? How in the world could it be Highlands fault they didn't play? Highlands was missing players too, and they won. There are no excuses, Mason County just got beat.
