I like most of Cruise's movies...but this is absolutely no contest...Hanks kills him.

Cruise. Hanks is a nice guy, good actor, but I've always like Tom Cruise's movies better.

All good things Tom Cruise start and stop with Top Gun....One of my favorite movies of all-time.

That's a hard one, but Hanks definitely has better range. Cruise is great, but he's basically the same person in every movie. Except for Tropic Thunder...

I believe this video was shown on TomCruise.com when his official site was first launched.

 

Gives you a reminder of just how many great things he has been a part of over the years. Pretty remarkable.

Forest Gump and Philadelphia are simply amazing. The only film Cruise has ever done IMO that comes close is Top Gun. Hanks is one of the best in the business.

BTW, once performed the bar seen from top gun to a girl once, yea it was probably the pimpest rendition ever done, I was about 15 or so,..... It was at church camp. That's how I operate.:banana:

Saving Private Ryan...and he was incredible in the Terminal.
