With snow in the forecast this week, I figured I'd go ahead and switch out the 20's for the stock wheels. Let me tell you, what a pain in the rear. :irked:

True...But I figure I've got three months to sulk about that. :D

Do you also park 6 feet away from the curb so you don't scratch them? I always laugh when I see this, but I guess its understandable when they cost alot.

Nah...I've gotten used to parking in my car, so its no biggie. Although I do make sure to pay careful attention not to curb-it.

You may want to invest in a small compressor and impact. If you plan to do this 2 a year it would probably be worth it.

Ha I treat my car like a piece of crap. It get's me from A to B.

I actually thought about that...My buddy has a compressor, and that would probably make it ALOT easier on me...

I've used mine every winter (about three years) and mine have never cracked, but I've heard the same thing. I think as long as you don't turn your stuff all the way up as soon as you get in your car you should be fine. Kind of let them warm up a bit.

How big of an amp do you have?

I got a little guy, I think its 560. I got a package deal, it came with the amp and 2 subs for 300.

IMO, more is not always better when it comes to amps, so if you've got the right subs that size amp would be good. I had a 400 watt pushing two 12's and it sounded good.

Yeah, I got two 12's and they sound really good. The worst thing for me is that 3 weeks ago my faceplace was stolen. Not the CD player itself but the faceplate.
