I heard all along that JH will be the team to represent the West at the Pizza Box in December... I am suprised they were beat by Doss for the District Championships.

 

Will either team have the firepower to get by Bowling Green and on to the State Finals?

Probably, since Bowling Green got beat last week by OHS. I'm sure neither JH or Doss are looking ahead right now, but I think both teams would match up well with OHS or CCHS.

Wow... I was out of town all last weekend and just now catching up on all the playoffs. Didn't know that BG fell. Best of Luck to either team... enjoy the fun and run to the State Finals!

I dont care what kind of chip John Hardin has on its shoulder Doss has been legit all year, and is simply better. Their play has not slacked off at all from week to week.

Duh you really know alot about it, those teams are in 6A, theyve done great in thier class.

By the way, Doss lost to Fern Creek who just lost to Scott Co. who lost to Oldham Co. who lost to JH who lost to Doss. What does that mean? Absolutely nothing! So, with that being said, JH wins and I'm sticking with my original score 35-21.

I was about to say Bowling Green is not the team you have to worry about anymore. I would just worry about Friday night first and see who you play if you win. The other 2 teams on the other side of the bracket are no slouches.

 

If Owensboro wins Friday night they will not be an easy out they beat BG last week and will try to get revenge on a game they had well in hand and went to the locker room 7 minutes early that night.

 

Christian Co is big across the line and can play with anybody as well. I think there are still a few teams that can play with Highlands left and maybe even pull off the upset if the stars are aligned right that night.

Both PRP and Fern Creek are 6-A...a class that has a whopping two really good teams. After that...it can be anybody that wins on a given night. So don't tell me your losses were to powerhouse schools. JH will have to play well to beat Doss. But if JH plays great...well you do the math. If there's a knock about the JH squad, its there inconsistency. Given the current situation between these two schools, I'd bet JH will be a bit more focused this time around with their deep threat and punter back.
