Anyone have any details on where DeSales QB is going for College?

 

My favorite Colt-QB Ryan Johnson-is still a Junior so he has a while before deciding on college. He has the ability to go D1 as a Punter/Kicker. Fine young man and an outstanding athlete. :thumb:

Alright the 20Rook that's true but you don't throw the flag after hesitating and seeing HC is going to score. Then a few players later a Desales player punch a HC player right in front of a Ref not even close to the play. What is your response to that?

 

While I agree it looks bad, oftentimes that's EXACTLY when you see a flag come. Why ? Because many officials hesitate to call holding when the foul doesn't adversely affect the defensive team.

 

Obviously, if HC broke the run for a TD, the defense would have been hurt badly by a non-call. While seeing the offense make a big gain was what prompted the flag, if officials called every hold, games would take 4 hours.

 

Since you haven't denied a hold occurred, I assume the call was correct.

Garbage calls cost this one for HC. Andy Roenker had the ball on the five yard line after about a fifty yard run and the ref threw the flag for holding back where the play began. Just can't make that call in a game like this. Either way good game both sides of the ball.

Horrible calls tonight and ball spots. Both teams played well, but HC hands down was the better team even though they didnt come out with the win. Good Year HC and good luck to DeSales.

Mark Sander at DeSales is a class act. Congrats to both teams on what sounds like was a great HS football game.

First round of the playoffs. I am sure HC and Desales was a great game. Two outstanding coaches in this one . This would be a great matchup to see on the schedule in years to come. I like to see NKY teams play Louisville teams,its almost like a natural rivalry exists with these two areas.

I don't think Carroll Co. counts as a "Louisville team". I've been to Caneyville and it's just as rural in nature as Louisa.

D1 kickers do not miss a clutch field goal to win a game, so I have to disagree with you on that one buddy.

Come on, kickers at all levels miss kicks to win games. Uh can you remember Scott Norwood for the Bills in the Super Bowl, wide right ? Please understand these kids read BGP posts like that really make a kid feel worse than what they already do. Finally I have seen this kid kick and he is a great kicker.
