How does the line look for Williamsburg next year?

 

 

Young...WHS losses 4 of 5, but returns the starting center and two rising juniors that started on the DL only this season. So the Burg returns 3 OL with some experience. The coaching staff has to find two more that can move around and block within their scheme down there and they should be fine.

Why do some parents want their kids out of the house and on to college as soon as possible? Why not keep them around as long as you can?

 

Excellent point! They are MANY REASONS to hold a kid back that has nothing to do with sports. It is a wise thing to do for MOST kids.

 

To answer your question, PARENTS ARE A LOST ART IN TODAYS WORLD. jUST LOOK AROUND AT OUR COUNTRY AND THE SHAPE ITS IN!

LOL Just an FYI All of the above you mentioned are hold backs, with exception of the Fugate kid and him I know nothing about and am not going to clam I do unlike you. Sounds like you might just have a personal problem with the Davenport kid, only assuming to know his situation when you obviously don't. LOL

 

Didn't even notice this, but I'm not going to continue to argue back and forth with you. I dont really have the time, and really dont see why this attempt to put me down continues, so this is the last time I'm going off topic on this thread.:sssh: Now, if I'm remembering this correctly, never once did I say just because their a hold back they wont succeed on the field, I said I think its just not right to hold a kid back and it does IMO diminish their accomplishments in a way, never once said it makes them a bad player, so I dont know where your FYI comment is comming from. I also didnt claim to know anything about Fugate, FYI. I'm going simply on stats, on highlights I've saw of him on sports overtime (very impressive ones at that) and the fact that his team is in the state championship. I'll state this again, as I have several times, I have no personal problem with the Davenport kid I hope he succeeds and does great for the Bobcats, I really do. I never once said I know his situation, if he was held back for academic reasons, thats fine there was an obvious reason behind it. For athletic purposes though is a different story, and leads into what 5wide stated about how many kids actually make it to the collegiate level for football, especially from the mountains. It doesn't happen as much as we'd like to see it happen. Thats all I have to say about this one. :thumb:
