November 16, 200817 yr Yeah, and it stinks for those of you who are there thick and thin, no matter what. We have our own pathetic version of the 18% and I'm ashamed of it. Every fan base does. Human nature is the same regardless of your race, sex, favorite team, etc.

November 16, 200817 yr OK, I'm confused. Why did the players choose to pray in that manner. Paul says we are to pray for not as a show for others. "Go into a closet". (locker-room) Now to defend the Bearcats, praying as a team before or after a contest is good. Did they ask the Cards to join in? Did the Cards pray after the game with the Bearcats? Maybe they should have asked U of L if it would be OK. Sometimes we pray for the wrong reasons.

They get off the buses, and walk the field as a team. The players that aren't part of the prayer circle go to the locker room and the ones that do participate stay on the field for an extra few minutes and pray. The opposing team is welcome, and several schools have joined in...
November 16, 200817 yr This is so funny... It reminds me so much of UK's fan base and the whole Tubby situation. You have those UL fans that are more loyal to a coach then they are to the program and consider any one who disagrees with that to be some sort of pathetic fan or trader, when in fact it appears to me the most knowledgeable fans are the ones who see the problem and want something done about it...
November 16, 200817 yr The sad part for me is after all the cleaning house that Krag was supposed to have done he still has players on his team that had to be restrained from interrupting UC's prayer, kudos to those UL players that had enough sense to stop them...
