Final

The Green Dragons have played much better football the last half of the season, huge game on the ground for Link, and Hensley. On defense the Dragons were led by James Hill and Kenny Pennington. Field conditions probably hurt Allen Central's passing game but the line of scrimmage was controlled by Harlan's line on both sides of the ball. Now it is on to Pikeville to try an get to advance on to the regional final.

Wow I thought the Rebels would show up for this one.

They did, but they did not appear to like physical football nor a muddy track at all. Congrats to Harlan...they have steadily improved and developed an identity of toughness that matches the strengths of their personnel.

They just went through the motions and had no intensity whatsoever. Harlan was fired up and very agressive.

Good post. :thumb: Again, consistent improvement week after week by Harlan. Great defensive performance. No doubt Harlan controlled the line of scrimmage but linebackers also did a great job attacking the run. Great job by Harlan running the football. Of course, it always happens behind some great blocks. :fight: I was impressed by the Allen Central QB. His receivers just could not catch it. Looking forward to next Friday!
