Raceland's JV and Freshmen once again got valuble playing time in this one. Coach Vanderhoof was substituting heavily early in the 2nd qtr. with a 43-0 Raceland lead with approx. 10:00 left in the 1st half.

 

Clinton Co. kids played hard and did not quit. I will pray for the Clinton Co. safe drive home in this terrible weather.

Congratulations to the Ram's,keep rolling on to that championship......Pretty good weekend for the local teams!

Rams, this was week one of the 2nd season, you picked up your lunch box, went out and went to work and got this one. Come Monday a new work week starts leading to next Friday's game at Ram Stadium.

Stay focused, concentrate on each practice, your next week's game plan, work hard with the same "lunch box" mentality that you have all season. Never be satisfied, you can always play better.

No, I did not hear it. But I know they won.

The starters got a quarter and a little of the second, and came out dominate, the JV did very well. Micheal Litteral had several good runs and some punt return yardage. Ralph Burchett did well. Brian Caudill had to have around 80 yards rushing, good freshman performance. Tyler Farley and Marcus Reed had some nice runs. The JV OL/DL did very well.

 

The Freshman team did well in the fourth quarter, several defensive stops and scored one Touchdown.

 

Great team performance.

 

Good luck to Clinton County next season. Clinton never quit and played to the final horn, in fact they scored on the final play.
