Top 5 freshman this season

Walker will be really good.

Fun kid to watch play...

Watch out for Tyreke Evans of Memphis. He looks impressive

Not impressed at all last year by BJ Mullens. When he played Yancy Gates, Gates seemed much better.

How many did Evans have last night? He looked impressive, albeit against UMASS

I can't say enough about Aminu..

Aminu is tops on my frosh list for sure. Most likely the most explosive player in college basketball, and in college explosive can take you a long way.

I also like Tyreke Evans and Samardo Samuels. Calipari will have Evans basically coming in and taking over the role Derrick Rose had last year, and its the same role that helped produce a number one pick and trip to the championship game. Evans not as good as Rose, but he is close, and in Cal's system he will shine.

I also really love the way Pitino uses his big men. We all know all to well about how Pitino is the basketball messiah of the three pointer, and having run and gun shooters, but his ability to work his big mean with that mix often gets overshadowed. Samuels couldn't have ended up in a better situation IMO, and should excel giving the talent level surrounding him.

Those are my three guys.

Evans, Samuels, Walker, Derozen, and Holiday would be my top 5 as of right now
