Shotgun fighting in GOW 1 was a skill. GOW is not more skillful, all you do is shoot a lancer until you down the guy.

 

I had 27,000 kills on GOW 1, atleast 23,000 of them were shotgun. I have a little over 1,000 kills on GOW2 and I'd say 100 might be shotgun.

Are you joking me....Everyone knows that the shotgun took no skill in GOW1.. That's pretty sad for you to say otherwise...It was way powerful and had as much firing distance as the lancer did, not really but quite a distance...

 

GOW2 was made to take more skill with weapons and not just running and fighting..

Well, SvFan I would agree with you on the part of the shotgun in GoW1. In GoW2 you can put a shotgun point blank on someone running at you and it will slow them down and they can still chainsaw you. It is so stupid, I have already broken my controller when that has happened and believe me, it will happen to you!

Shotgun took no skill? I bet you lost every shotgun fight you were in, right? You ask any TRUE gears fan and they will tell you the shotgun is why the game was so good wasn't like the other nubie games like Halo and COD4.

 

And as for to take more skill with the weapons on GOW2... No, sniping is easier, boom is easier, hammer is weaker. They made it easier for the nubes, and took the skill weapons off such as the hammer and shotgun.

Check that it was longer now and at the end it said connection lost to the host. Great tarting over again.

Multiplayer for this is terrible.

I'm pretty sure I'm a real gamer! Around 75k kills on halo with a 48 ranking. Over 100k kills and 10 prestige since jan on cod4! And around 50k on gow. And they only way the shotgun took skill was if you encountered someone with one too. Other than that I agree it's wayyyy overpowered. It involves hardlymuch skill if u encounter someone without one. It's like the grenade launcher on cod 4.

Still haven't played my 2nd game yet. It's searching. I think I will be taking this game back, I shoot someone for an hour and they don't die.
