I just got back from the BC Red/White game and saw some things that actually surprised me! The team didn't look anything like they did in the summer and it looks like they have improved tremendously! Does anyone have any comments on what they thought about the game?

It was big time scoring for the white team!

They make up for the lack of talent with hustle. This team may not win alot of games, but they will be fun to watch. It will be interesting to see other teams keeping up with the pace BC will be playing.

Elliott County on December 16th should be able to hang with the pace. Look forward to my first trip to Boyd County High School. Actually understand the gym is not located with the HS??

Boyd plays at the Middle School gym. If BC runs with Elliott look for all three digits on the scoreboard to light up. Elliott is the real deal.

Is this the first time Elliott Co. has ever played at Boyd Co.? If so that really surprises me. Most teams in the 16th have played many times at BC. I know as a player in the 90's it was too many times for me, they were tough back then.

Of course not. Said it would be my first time. I am a long distance fan (30 miles west of Lexington) who started following them and attending games last year. After attending about 20 games last year they have adopted me into the Lion Fold. I plan on breaking that record this year with attendance of over 30 games both home, away, Myrtle Beach, All A, district, regional, and state tournament. And through it all I have made a bunch of great new friends in Sandy Hook and Isonville.

I was at the Red/White game.......Elliott will be challenge. The big kid is a senior football player. I don't know if he will be on the bench this year or not, really haven't heard one way or the other.

The big kid is well over 300lbs., was the last time I spoke to him. He is a load. I don't know if he will get much playing time, but can be a problem if he does. He is very physical.

In high school a coach will find a way to alter his system for a 6'8 kid. If he can put the ball in the basket, grab some rebounds and block some shots, the coach will find a way to make him fit in his system.
