The 64 team playoff makes me laugh.

 

I would like the 8 team playoff.

8 team playoff.

I like the current system.

Every game all season is important.

Not like the NCAA basketball where the UK-UNC game is pretty much meaningless except for the egos of the fans of the two schools.

 

Bad comparison IMO...

 

Basketball and Football are way different. You play one game a week in football, while in basketball you play usually twice a week and usually up to 30 something games a year. So when you play more games, of coarse you going to be aloud to lose a few.

 

In football the games will still be just as important, and all the same people will still watch. If any two teams are playing in the top 10, people are not going to stop watching because well there is a playoff system now. So they might be able to afford to lose. They will still watch because it is just great football.

 

Yeah you can't do a 64 team playoff like basketball, because once again football is different and that would take way to long. An 8 team playoff or at most a 16 team playoff, would work great, and not take away anything from the regular season. Since they don't play as many games as other sports, they still wouldn't be able to really afford to lose much at all.

I feel like if there is another blow up again this year then the pressure is on for whoever is in charge of post season
