Final.

Trimble played with alot of heart tonight , they went into the game short handed and came out even more short handed. There was 7 starters that did not finish the game for the Raiders.

 

Good job by the very young guys that came in and stepped up for Trimble.

 

Special Kudos to Skiler Alexander (freshman QB) that came in and ran the team very well,especially since he had hardly any work at QB as he starts at WR.

 

Good win for that Raiders as alot of people had counted you out. I am very proud of you.

 

Keep improving young guys.

I agree with Tall Trees. The Raiders played very well last night, particularly freshman QB Skiler Alexander. I can't wait to see how he develops over the next few years.

 

I also want to mention Blake Renfro, how scored two of the Raiders TDs. He played very well. He had a 69 yd TD pass reception that looked sweet. Also, Aunner Posas showed some moves and agility on a TD that I hadn't ever seen from him. I thought that RB Michael Edens also did well.

 

This will be a critical week for the Raiders to bounce back from MANY injuries and illnesses. The Walton-Verona Bearcats are next in line and are a very hungry first year team. They do things right up in W-V and I am sure that those boys will be ready.

You must have heard wrong, because we ran the A-11 in the first half. Then after we got several key A-11 positions hurt we had to go to the wishbone and run out the clock. :thumb:

Big UPS! To the young guys that stepped in and showed 'Raider Pride' when their number was called. Freshman Skiler Alxander on his first career touchdown pass and DL Johnathon Wilson first career sack.

 

Good job to Coach Poynter especially, he's doing a tremendous job with this group of guys despite the record. It's a scary thing to play Poynter's team when Trimble is rolling on all cylinders. The ball was shared well and took a load off of Sullivan's back. Edens (20 carries 109 yards) and Posas (8 carries 85 yards;1 touchdown) great running really spark the victory and toughness from the young quarterback in tough game situation.

 

Next Week should be a intersting game. Walton-Verona is a alright team after all and their coach is doing a great job. Good luck to both teams.

Very true about the young kids, we have been playing alot of young kids most of the season and they have taking there lumps , but they are growing up. Now they are almost sophmores.
