NKYsportsblog, I agree the Simpson Kid and the Quainno kid are very good backs but again I am talking about an all around back who does it all, catch balls out of the backfield, blocks in pass coverage, blocks down field and then carries the ball 15-20 times a game. Just my opinion and makes for very good converstion.

I understand, and I did realize that's why you were giving Kelly the credit. That being said, I still feel he's not the best back in NKY. He's a good back no doubt, just in my opinion not the best... even talking all around.

Have you watched Simpson play this year? He does catch the ball out of the backfield and blocks in pass coverage(when they pass). If they were comparable then Kelly would be going D-1.

Simpson is very fast. He's going DI based on his speed and SIZE. That's the difference. As high school backs, they aren't that far apart. Kelly has enough size for high school and is not as far behind in the speed department as you think. Kelly hits harder though, that is one thing that I will give him.

No way Kelly hits harder than Simpson, this young man is an absolute head hunter! He could just as easily go D1 as strong safety:madman: He is a throw back safety, with his size and speed, wow! Like in the days of Steve Attwater and David Fulcher, OH!, my bad , most of you guys were still in diapers! :lol::lol:

He is not Atwater, or Fulcher. I've seen Simpson twice and have missed one NewCath game. AS A RUNNING BACK, like we were discussing, he hits harder. Simpson wants to get outside, Kelly is more of a straight line runner. He will go D1 as a safety due to his size and speed. That doesn't have anything to do w/ who runs harder.
