That game has been a tradition in this area for a long time. I remember when it was Coles Jr. high vs. Putnam jr. high. A very good friend of mine coached a few of those games. The Kiwanis Bowl is a long standing Ashland tradition so go young Tomcats!

Are you talking about Coach Dowdy? How is he doing these days? Man, he used to get all fired up over those games.

^ Yes I am talking about Greg, he is doing a lot better now since he has retired from a carrer in education, principal at a Raceland elementary. He is also doing well with his heart condition (post heart surgery)

 

He is fishing and rabbit hunting so he is o.k..
