I think my biggest issue with Bush was has insistence on invading Iraq.

 

I believe it was the correct thing to do... even if for what seems to be the wrong reasons. Millions of people are now free to worship where and how they want. Women can vote. Children are getting educated. A tyrannical govt is gone and democracy can have a chance to flourish.

I view him as a complete failure. The War on "terror" was a joke and we have accomplished nothing at all. After 9/11 we said it was Afghanistatn and went over to fight them, then half way into that we decide we want Iraq to have freedom and go over to Iraq and start a War. It made no sense at the time and it still doesn't. Bush is an idiot and has ruined this country. He has been responsible for many soldier deaths for putting them where they didn't have to be. I stand firm in believing that the unfortunate events of 9/11 were a conspiracy by the government and Bush knew it was going to happen.

I voted "bad" because of the colossally wrong decision to invade Iraq ... a horrible move that has cost this country dearly on so many fronts.

Oh and my second biggest grief with Bush is the "No Child Left Behind" Act that was supposed to help...it was done horribly and made so sense the way they were wanting to implement it. I think the numbers showed a 70% improvement, well if it isn't 100% then guess what, 30% of the kids are still being left behind. Don't push an ACT that is supposed to leave NO child behind but still leaves 30% behind. He's an idiot!

IMO the troops that have valiantly gave their life defending freedom died protecting the good ol' USA; not Iraq. Their death, every one of them, are more than we should have had to bear. However, since there are others in this world who mean to do us harm, they were put in harms way defending our way of life. This has been made a travesty in the press, and because so, seemingly no other country on the earth likes us. ln fact if you listen to the major networks, they don't like the USA much neither.

 

I love this country and would stand up next to you any day to defend it.

My hate towards Bush has actually very little for my support for Obama. Bush was and still is a bad president and those who think otherwise just don't want to admit they were wrong in voting for him. I will vote for Obama and be proud in doing so, and if he turns out to be a dud then I'll admit I shouldn't have voted but I will not vote for a Republican who wants more tax breaks for the rich, considering I'm far from it, and McCain's stance on some of the topics just don't appeal to me on where I stand. His health care plan is very poor and I just don't see him being the right fit.

If you are a student, I hope that you had not planned to remain in eastern Kentucky during an Obama presidency. You may get goosebumps just knowing that Obama is going to soak the rich, who are already paying more than their fair share of taxes, but Obama has promised to bankrupt the coal industry and admitted that the cost of electricity will soar. I hope that you and your family can escape the mountains before the lights go out.

Honestly I do believe it was a conspiracy set up by the government (maybe not by Bush, but by the government and Bush knew about it). I really don't follow all the websites or video's or pictures, and what not saying it was a conspiracy but in my heart, I honestly believe that. I don't know why, it just seems very weird, the whole thing. The building collapsing and all of it. I believe there is way more to 9/11 than we will ever know.

Actually I don't plan on it, and none of my family are associated with the coal industry in anyway so that really doesn't effect me.

If your family lives in eastern Kentucky, they will be impacted by a collapse in the coal industry. McCain has not promised to bankrupt the coal industry nor has he claimed that his policies will cause energy prices to skyrocket. Obama has done both.
