When Burrell hit the double and Howell got pulled, I said "Told you so." I love Joe Maddon and what he's done with this team as a whole, but he is a terrible game manager. He's made questionable decisions all season.

Lot of game still left.You have your entire pitching staff rested available to you in a sudden death game and you do not pinch hit for Howell. To me, eating an out when you do not have outs to give, especially with the tools you have sitting in the pen, is not a good decision in this situation. It's also par for the course for Joe.
