The schedule was done a couple of years ago and also before the change in the playoff setup.

 

ClassXRadioSports will be broadcasting the game starting at 1:30pm on 97.7 and 107.9FM and online at http://www.classxradiosports.com.

 

I bit of a homecoming for myself as we started broadcasting high school sports at Gallatin 4 years ago.

 

Coach Browning has done an excellent job with the squad he has. Making the playoffs in the first 3 years that they are eligible is quite a feat. Especially in a district that has more than 4 teams in it. Gallatin will be fine.

 

With that being said though, Bellevue, IMO will come out on top in this one.

Even though Dayton does have a bad record from the tough schedule they have played, I do think that it has prepared the team better throughout the season. Because this Dayton team is so young, only starting 3 or 4 seniors, the experience these younger kids get from playing in competive football games is excellent. Granted, Scott and Holmes both beat Dayton this year, neither game was a blow out and Dayton beat both of them last year. I'm not sure if Holmes is going to stay on the schedule, but I would like to see Scott stay on there, and a good 1A team in a team like Lynn Camp. I'm not saying Bellevue's schedule is weak, but I think it does benefit a team to play a solid out of conference schedule.

 

Anyways, as for the game, I see Bellevue winning pretty easily.

It's just not always that easy....if Bellevue tries to schedule too high (5A or 6A), those schools typically say no because they think it will not be a challenge to play 1A schools. I know another factor is travel, I know alot of schools have a range on how far they can travel.

I have also heard from players that some schools do not like playing Bellevue because of their hard nose approach to playing.

 

Please!!!!!!! Whatever "players" are saying that need to wake up. I doubt many teams are hesitant to play Bellevue for fear of their style of play:rolleyes:
