This world-famous musician played two shows at the Howard Theater in tiny Crab Orchard, Kentucky in 1969. A local band was the opening act and played a couple of songs. My brother was a freshman in high school and the local band's drummer.

 

The main act's drummer passed out drunk prior to the second show and my brother sat in with the main act. This very famous musician told him "don't worry about it and just try to keep up."

 

Who was this musician who had to hide his limousine behind the theater because "the repo man is looking for it"?
