Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't his Ratings based off those, who attend his various camps he is involved with. Does he rate/rank those players, who don't attend?

 

His ratings also include players who were not at the Blue Chip camp. The Blue Chip camp can give some exposure to a player who otherwise might be under the radar screen, and that may be a reason why his differ from the ones that are usually seen. There are a lot of good players that a) haven't committed to UK; b) are not in a situation where they can rack up stats., and c) don't have a public relations department. :bunny:

I'm one that believes Stenzil should move up. He will not lack public relations this year as his team GRC will be highly watched. He will get his chance to shine.

I agree with you on several points....Stenzel is a really good player, GRC will be good and highly visible, and GRC has a great public relations department.

Funny about the PR department. Maybe I'm a little old fashion in thinking it how a player performs on the court that counts more than what someone types. Any press Stenzil gets is probably earned.

Nice to see Elisha Justice get a mention. He is a very overlooked talent...

 

I see a lot of publicity on this board and in the blogs about players like Justice, Cox, certain players from the mountains etc.. I do believe they are good players. However, these lists are very hit and miss and leave out plenty of very comparable players who don't get talked about a lot on the bulletin boards and blogs, don't attend the blue chip camp, or aren't in a situation to rack up gaudy stats. IMO, Elisha Justice is not overlooked at all. He seems to get plenty of accolades. Certain parts of the state have more avid fans who promote their local players' accomplishments more than other areas promote their own.

I think junior Zach Jones from Gallatin County is a very good player that is often overlooked. I look for him to have a very good year and be able to take some of the presure off Maddox.
