October 21, 200817 yr You don't technically have to pay for Gameplan.... I have been watching the UK games on gameplan with the UK Alumni Club down here at sports bars.... I am sure any Applebee's or any sports bar worth it's salt would gladly let people wach UK play for your patronage.
October 21, 200817 yr It is not on basic cable live. Still doesn't mean the game wasn't broadcast live.
October 22, 200817 yr The Big Blue Network is not carrying on PPV? :sssh: It is being reported this game will be live on PPV at 2:30 PM. At the end of the day however, it was announced that the scrimmage had been pushed back to 6 pm and that the football game would be on PPV at 2:30 PM. I have yet to hear whether the coverage will be the MSU feed with Kentucky announcers, or whether the BBSN changed its mind and decided not to ignore a potentially HUGE football game, but at this point, both will be televised in Kentucky…..although you gotta pay to see the football game.
October 22, 200817 yr What happened is that Big Blue Sports Network opted to televise the Blue/White basketball SCRIMMAGE rather than showing a game that could potentially insure a 3rd consecutive bowl game for the football team. This is a pretty poor effort by the power that be at the BBSN.

October 22, 200817 yr LEXINGTON, Ky. - After a one-year hiatus, the annual Blue-White Scrimmage has been scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 1 at 6:00 p.m. in Rupp Arena.
October 22, 200817 yr So you're saying that post #33 is incorrect? I'm saying that is what originally happened.
October 22, 200817 yr Rumors are swirling that the BBN may change their mind. Personally, I think it'll be on TV somehow / somewhere. We may have to watch it through the Miss. St. feed, though.
