Anyone ever give a thought in getting an air cannon and firing it loaded with blue and white confetti at the same time as the big boomer.

 

The school probably would not want the confetti landing on the Field Turf (assuming you aimed the air cannon in the same direction as the real cannon, and it wouldn't make sense to aim it in any other direction) but it was a good idea.

I saw some of these at Xavier's graduation exercises this spring and they were neat . Maybe they can be rented somewhere . I'd like to see something like this at NCC's home games but I don't think our landlord would tolerate it .

There has never been a woman in the crew. Women have fired it (heck, Henry has fired it plenty at non football events), but there hasn't been a woman on the official crew.
