I mean they just pounded Wisconsin who lost to a HORRIBLE Michigan team... People are not trying to say Penn State is a bad team. However they are overrated if they look at the ranking they have. IMO they are not a top 5 team, but are a top 10 team right now though.

I have heard this argument the last 2 years about big 10 teams, and how well this team is definitely a top 5 team and all that stuff... Also have I said LSU is a top team still? I really don't think I have, but if I have please show me...I think LSU is a team that probably is around an 8 to 12 team. With that said, I do think they would beat Penn State still...:sssh:

Just not a top 5 football team... First off, last season Ohio State didn't exactly earn their spot in the title game, it isn't the Bucks fault the teams ahead of them lost. Second the 06 team did deserve it, look what they did to Texas at Texas and a Michigan team who was actually very, very good. I understand the Big 10 isn't the SEC, but come on. Look at OU last year, they were great during the regular season and then BAM, a bad game and they got smoked. In 06 Ohio State did get smoked, they just didn't come ready to play, none of them. Last year they actually came out and had a 10-3 lead early, and they looked good they just couldn't hold on to the lead. PSU is a top 5 team, I don't see how they are not? Maybe the Big 10 is down again, but come on? If USC was in the Big 10 would you be saying the same? How about Texas? Florida? I understand all the Big 10 weak stuff, I do but don't hold that against this team, they are for real IMO..

They will probably be in the title game due to weak conference schedule though.

Ohio State wins their 7th national Championship in 2002, and then get back to the National Championship in 2006, and 2007 have a couple of bad games and people say that is due to a weak schedule. Ohio State put themselves into a position that alot of other teams would have loved to have been in and just didn't play well. It's that simple! It's funny how if Ohio State gets beat it's due to a weak schedule, but let Tenessee get bombed by a horrible UCLA team, or LSU get bombed by Florida 51-21, or Florida get beat by a mediocre Ole Miss team and it's because it's a strong SEC. It's laughable!
