I agree HC is tough, but where are the Jug fans that usually comment. What happened?

 

Lets hear from them, cause you know they would be all over it if they won. By the way it was a heated jv game today but HC prevailed pretty easily 21-12.

How did Dylan McGuire do?

 

Through the ball well at times, showed his youth but honestly for a first time starter really showed promise. He throw the ball up a few times and HC made plays on it.

Yeah Holy Cross really is a team that is good enough to beat the teams that they should, such as Lloyd. However, the playcalling isn't going to allow them to beat the big guys... Ryle, NCC (even though they're 2A), South Laurel. You can't run every play against those types of teams. With that being said, HC came out and got the job done and looked dominant against Lloyd. Also, it's worth noting HC had three trips into the redzone that resulted in 0 points in the first half. This could have been ugly.

HC may have won this game, In total, 4 key starters for Lloyd were out. Play a healthy Lloyd team, then maybe you acomplished something. So why act like you went out and did something great?? You didn't!

I think Mcguire will be just fine under center. He got his feet wet and knows what he needs to do this week. I believe the O line will step up to give Mcguire the time needed to make the throws in the pocket. Plus he has two very fast running backs he can hand off to. (Seydric Walker and Seth Chappie) Also he has an explosive full back (O'Brien) who showed that he can get the job done as well last friday night. The Juggs are more than capable to win this game.

I agree. Dylan is a different style QB then Brendon. Dylan was the QB when his freshmen class were 9-1 with wins over New Cath, Newport and Beechwood.

With quality wins like that it shows he has the skills to lead this team as well.

Let's not be over confident after a win.

 

If I recall HC did struggle mightily with Holmes where they had those same problems. Every team has bad games. But it's showing class and still respecting your opponent after a win that truly shows the character of a team AND it's fans.
