I think Mcguire will be just fine under center. He got his feet wet and knows what he needs to do this week. I believe the O line will step up to give Mcguire the time needed to make the throws in the pocket. Plus he has two very fast running backs he can hand off to. (Seydric Walker and Seth Chappie) Also he has an explosive full back (O'Brien) who showed that he can get the job done as well last friday night. The Juggs are more than capable to win this game.

I agree. Dylan is a different style QB then Brendon. Dylan was the QB when his freshmen class were 9-1 with wins over New Cath, Newport and Beechwood.

With quality wins like that it shows he has the skills to lead this team as well.

If I recall HC did struggle mightily with Holmes where they had those same problems. Every team has bad games. But it's showing class and still respecting your opponent after a win that truly shows the character of a team AND it's fans.

 

Very true and point taken, because the Indians haven't shown they can hold on to the ball aganist a really good team. I just get ahead of myself sometimes. But rest assure that the Indians we be confident, but aware of how potent this Beechwood team can be and most likely will be. The rivalry part of me gets the best of me to much. :thumb:

If it COULD have been 40 or 50 to 12, it WOULD have been 40 or 50 to 12... And it wasn't. Lloyd had their second string QB in, what could anyone expect? HC may have won this game, In total, 4 key starters for Lloyd were out. Play a healthy Lloyd team, then maybe you acomplished something. So why act like you went out and did something great?? You didn't!

 

HC was more beat up than Lloyd.

 

Yes the starting QB was not hurt but the starting center, reciever/DB, linebacker/fullback, and MLB were all injured in this game.

 

 

All that matters is that HC won the game, and Lloyd lost. In the end no one cares who was out it is the winner who will be remembered and the loser who will be forgotten. So no excuses. HC played there tails off last night

HC and Lloyd's coaches need to get together and combine their playbooks. Each could take a page out of each other's book to an extent.
