October 3, 200817 yr Pitt uses a two back system, so he is far from overworked. Stevens-Howling is a solid back, but honestly I don't think they get the ball to McCoy enough... Good for him, the article I read was predicting Rice to be a "bust" b/c he got too many touches in college. It may have predicted the same thing for Chris Johnson though. Ironically they called it the Chris Perry theory.

October 3, 200817 yr In last year's BCS game, West Virginia beat Oklahoma. WVU was good last year and Oklahoma has been a tad bit dissapointing in BCS bowls lately. Pitt or whoever comes out of the conference isn't as good as WVU was last year. But I wouldn't at all be surprised if they win a BCS bowl game this year depending on the matchup.

But I wouldn't at all be surprised if they win a BCS bowl game this year depending on the matchup. I agree that there probably isn't anyone as good as WVU last year. However, every year questions rise about why they're associated with the BCS, but they keep winning their BCS bowl games.
