September 29, 200818 yr She's for the war in Iraq, which I agree with, is pro-life, and pro-guns....That's her stance on 3 issues that I feel are very important to me as a voter. IMO those are good reasons. Well, besides being vapid, what I have against Palin: I have been against the war in Iraq, and am not-pro gun, although I'm not anti-gun, and believe that abortion is wrong, but better fought at the local level.

IMO those are good reasons. Her broad lack of knowledge worries me much more than a declared stance on a subject. She has yet to prove herself competent in any large fields of debate or discussion and it scares me that someone like this could be in the White House(or wherever McCain wants to move the offices to). Declaring a stance on an issue is one thing, being able to competently support it is a whole new ballgame.
September 30, 200818 yr Author UKMF, can you tell me what you thought about Palin as you watched the Couric interview?
September 30, 200818 yr UKMF, can you tell me what you thought about Palin as you watched the Couric interview? I can honestly say, I haven't watched it. I was going to watch it, but I figured most of the transcript has already been posted in the numerous threads, so I kinda feel like I have.

Written words are one thing. The delivery & body language is another.

September 30, 200818 yr Why does that mean anything? I don't form my opinions based off what others think or believe... Neither do I form mine based on others opinions, I am sure TB&G and RM don't either. We all have minds of our own.

September 30, 200818 yr As usual, not ONE person here can defend Palin in any way, they can only attack Obama/Biden in return. Palin has ZERO business being in the White House and that's all there is to it. You have got to be kidding! She's has more experience than Obama could even hope for. Community organizer doesn't even compare to a Gov. of a state, Who are you trying to kid? Obama and all his radical buddies?:fight:

September 30, 200818 yr Ernie Fletcher was a governor, but I don't detect a groundswell of public support for his selection as VP...not even here in BGP-land. Coincidentally, I believe the big Ern had national aspirations prior to his corruption derailment.
