September 25, 200817 yr Author Bose is top of the line when it comes to stock speakers. I also had Bose in mine. The bass was so loud that it was drowning out the vocals. I switched all my stock speakers to kicker also. For me, it was well worth the cost. I wouldn't do it if I didn't have to though. Let me know when you get serious about buying an in dash. Mine is in good shape and I wouldn't mind getting it off my hands. I'd love to buy a 64-69 impala and just gut it and redo the entire ride from top to bottom. My dad restores old cars so I've got some cheap labor when it comes to body work, paint, etc. I'd like to have it as a project I could work on every weekend and make it last a few years. Really the only thing keeping me from installing an in-dash is how it would affect my center console. I have an 04 Maxima, and the center console is like all one piece. Not to mention, I have an info screen and I'm not sure how all that would work together.

Not to mention, I have an info screen and I'm not sure how all that would work together. The type of monitor I have (motorized flip up) wouldn't affect it at all. When the screen is not out, it's the size of an average aftermarket cd player. If you're wanting a flush mounted screen (like the navigation systems you see in luxury cars) that would affect your set up. The flush mount looks really nice though. Have you thought about putting any screens in your visors ? Check out ebay, I'm not sure about the quality, but you can get a set for next to nothing. Also if you plan on putting some tv's in the headrests, I'd try to find some pre-installed ones that match the color of your interior. That way you can take them out and throw in your stock head rests when you are ready to trade for something else. I've been on the short end of the stick a time or two when trading in a car with aftermarket stuff done to it. Dealers will give you nothing for what you may have spent thousands on.

I actually found an old NWA tape and listened to it one day :lol: I'd say that's where they would install your indash as long as it had room to clear your shifter.

September 25, 200817 yr I only have one 12" Fusion Sub with a 300 watt amp. It's not alot... But it bumps the radio stations up a bit, which is what I was looking for.
