Anybody else have a system in their car? I've got two Audiobahn AW1251 12's, but I'm about to upgrade my amp.

I have 3 12" JL W3 with a Rockford Fosgate Amp.

I currently have 1 Kicker 10" ported.

 

 

I have had everything from a state from a world record SPL vehicle in 1994 to 5th place finish at IASCA Nationals in Sound Quality in 1998.

 

 

Great hobby but can get very expensive and time consuming.

4 kicker 15's in the back of my Tahoe. I haven't turned them on in over a year...

You're right, can definitely be expensive. But I love car audio stuff. After I get a larger amp for what I have now, I plan on putting a 7" monitor in my dash, and then TV's in the head rests.

I put the 4 15's in it completely for show. It's uncomfortably loud. That amount of speakers just isn't practical.

 

A few years ago, they never got turned off. I just grew out of it I guess.

I've got an alpine touch screen motorized 7 inch in dash in my ride also. Along with alligator seats and 22 inch spinners.

 

The rims have been off for a while now. I live in a rural area and the roads are full of pot holes. at 450 dollars a tire and 700 a rim, hitting those pot holes gets a tad bit expensive. They are also a pain to keep clean.

 

I've actually been thinking of buying an older Cadillac or impala lately and just seeing how outrageous I can go with it.

My subs right now are 800 watts each, and I'm buying an 1800 watt amp.
