September 22, 200817 yr I figured instead of doing a Track the Cubs thread, that I would start this. Mets lead the Brewers by two games in the loss column. Mets start a 4 game series at home against the Cubs on Monday. Brewers start a 3 game series at home against the Pirates on Tuesday.
September 23, 200817 yr Author Phillies win, Mets lose. Philadelphia now leads the East by 2 and half over NY. Mets lead over the Brewers in the Wild Card is down to 1 game. Going to be a fun week.
September 23, 200817 yr Actually, I want them to stay in the race until the final day because it makes the Phillies and Mets have to pitch their aces on Sunday.

September 23, 200817 yr I'm really rooting for the Brewers to make the playoffs ... a boon to small-market teams everywhere that are trying to build from within.

September 24, 200817 yr Author As for tonight: Mets win, Brewers win, Phillies lose. Mets trail the Phillies by a game and a half in the East. Mets still lead the Brewers by one game in the Wild Card.
September 24, 200817 yr Prince had a HUGE walk off and decided to show his fat belly as he was rounding first. Why did he feel the need to untuck his jersey? I hate when players do that. It just comes off as such a me me me attitude.

It just comes off as such a me me me attitude. I didn't mention how the Brewers won because I despise them, in a way I do want them to get in as the Wild Card. Just to see them get rolled over by the Phillies. Then again, part of me wants the Cubs to knock them out this weekend. I'm torn.
