HOMELESS CAMEL Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 I figured instead of doing a Track the Cubs thread, that I would start this. Mets lead the Brewers by two games in the loss column. Mets start a 4 game series at home against the Cubs on Monday. Brewers start a 3 game series at home against the Pirates on Tuesday.
polarbear1994 Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 I think the Brew Crew will pull it off.
HOMELESS CAMEL Posted September 23, 2008 Author Posted September 23, 2008 Phillies win, Mets lose. Philadelphia now leads the East by 2 and half over NY. Mets lead over the Brewers in the Wild Card is down to 1 game. Going to be a fun week.
DragonFire Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Please oh please let the Mets miss the postseason. I'll never stop laughing.
HOMELESS CAMEL Posted September 23, 2008 Author Posted September 23, 2008 Go Brewers Your enthusiam just EXUDES off the screen.
The Scribe Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Actually, I want them to stay in the race until the final day because it makes the Phillies and Mets have to pitch their aces on Sunday.
HOMELESS CAMEL Posted September 23, 2008 Author Posted September 23, 2008 Actually, I want them to stay in the race until the final day because it makes the Phillies and Mets have to pitch their aces on Sunday. I'm okay with that too. :thumb:
westsider Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 I'm really rooting for the Brewers to make the playoffs ... a boon to small-market teams everywhere that are trying to build from within.
threetimelover Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Actually, I want them to stay in the race until the final day because it makes the Phillies and Mets have to pitch their aces on Sunday. You want them to stay in the race to keep your prediction alive...
HOMELESS CAMEL Posted September 24, 2008 Author Posted September 24, 2008 As for tonight: Mets win, Brewers win, Phillies lose. Mets trail the Phillies by a game and a half in the East. Mets still lead the Brewers by one game in the Wild Card.
HammerTime Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 Prince had a HUGE walk off and decided to show his fat belly as he was rounding first. Why did he feel the need to untuck his jersey? I hate when players do that. It just comes off as such a me me me attitude.

I didn't mention how the Brewers won because I despise them, in a way I do want them to get in as the Wild Card. Just to see them get rolled over by the Phillies. Then again, part of me wants the Cubs to knock them out this weekend. I'm torn.
