Mets and Phillies both lose, Brewers win.

Mets and Brewers now tied for the wild card, Phillies maintain a game and a half lead over the Mets.

The Mets had an early 5-1 lead over the Cubs, blew that, with the game tied at 6 in the bottom of the 9th, Mets got a lead off triple. The heart of the order was due up, HOWRY was pitching and the Mets couldn't get that run in.

Cubs proceed to get 3 runs with two outs in the top of the 10th and win the game 9-6. Just STUNNING.

Brewers win, Mets win. Wild Card tied and the Phillies were off, their East lead down to 1 game.

Mets score 2 in the 8th, 1 in the 9th to win 7-6. Sounds like a great victory til you realize that Howry pitched the 8th and Hart pitched the 9th.

Go Brewers

I hope they have enjoyed beating up on the craptacular Pirates, Cubs are not going to lay down for this team and I would like nothing better then to end their season in front of their fans.

Well, end their season in front of SOME of their fans, we know who will take up a majority of the ball park.

Just do it on Sunday

Could be over tomorrow, Brewers and Phillies win, Mets lose.

Brewers now with a 1 game lead in the Wild Card. Phillies with a 2 game lead in the East.

Sheets goes tomorrow for Milwaukee, Santana comes back on 3 days rest for the Mets. Best thing NY can hope for is a rain out.

This just gets better and better.

Mets win, Santana throws another 110 pitches on three days rest, after throwing another 125 in his last start. He already had my respect for constantly beating the White Sox, but my GOODNESS. What a performance.

Brewers were trailing the Cubs 4-1 going into the bottom of the 8th, who does Lou go to? Jason Marquis

Marquis proceeds to give up a run and is pulled after leaving the bases loaded with just one out.

Cotts comes in and gives up a base hit, making it 4-3. He is pulled, bases still loaded one out.

Michael Wuertz comes in and proceeds to get out of the jam with no more damage. Cubs add 3 runs in the 9th and win 7-3. Just WOW!!!!

Sabathia goes tomorrow and depending on how things play out, we could see a Mets/Brewers playoff on Monday in New York. Sabathia and Santana would NOT be available for that game obviously. Fun stuff I tell ya.

Cubs-Brewers game was crazy, Marquis always knows how to make things interesting... Looks like tomorrow is going to be fun day to watch some baseball.

You bet, it will be one of the highlights of my day.:thumb:

Crazy day today.

Second straight year that the Marlins are the team to end the Mets playoff hopes on the final day of the season.

So I missed it, how did the Twins get the division, when the Sox have played a game less?
