SK scored on their first play, 70 yard run by Simpson. SK played their starters for one quarter, and from my count Simpson had 157 yds on 7 carries and I think 5 Tds. Hats off to Cooper, they didn't quit, and actually moved the ball down the field against SK's 2's.

We stopped by there maybe three or four weeks ago on a Sunday, there wasn't a fence yet, so I dunno what it's like. What about it didn't you like?

I like follow the LOS, from the visitors side, and the fence is on the outside of the fence. It stops at the stands, then there is a walkway behind the stands, on the other side it stops at about the 25 yard line, so you don't have as much range. Other than that, it's a beautiful field, and we are 1-0 on the new turf.

That was a nasty stick by Simpson. At that point of the game I believe Cooper had one first down, and Romero mad a nice pass to #4, I thought it would be a significant gain for the Jags but Simpson came into the picture and crushed him. Thankfully the young man was able to walk off on his own, and it looked like he may have had to be stiched up. Miles is a heavy hitter, he brings that type of mentality to his running style.

Who is next for the Pioneers?

Ryle, in Union. If SK want to make the playoffs they will have to win at least two more district games, or hope for a 3 way tie.

Easy game for the Pioneers as they cruise 56-14, but how about Chad Romero. He stepped his game up in the second half to get the Jaguars on the board twice and a good second half showing for Romero.

What grade is Romero? He had a very nice 3 quarters of play.
