September 19, 200818 yr Man, it seems I'm remembering a team right here in the Commonwealth that was exactly like that until about, oh two years ago...The name slips my mind though... Beats not having a legit football squad to root for, right?
September 19, 200818 yr Beats not having a legit football squad to root for, right?   If UK is "legit," Louisville is most certainly legit. It's amazing to me what a couple 7-win seasons can do to over-inflate a fan bases ego.

Hey, I'm as realistic of a UK fan as you're gonna find. Just returning the pot shots that you so frequently dole out.
September 19, 200818 yr Knock it off or start another thread debating the merits of UK/UL. Final warning.
September 19, 200818 yr Author Not sure if you guys know this but Duke football does have 2 wins this year equaling the total amount of wins in their past two seasons:lol: The only problem that I fear this season for Duke is that with Coach K being with the Olympics team who was coaching the Duke boys. Johnny D is now at Stanford which does frighten me about the upcoming season. Where is RP?

Well UK is certainly in the more legitimate conference. Wonder how Louisville would fair in the SEC when compared to the competition in the cupcake big East? As for the comments about UK not being good until a couple of years ago, I agree whole heartedly with that. However, I don't see it as being the same situation as Duke, which seems has no fan support at all. At least UK fans have always followed the football program and supported it, maybe not as much as in the past couple of years but it has always been supported. And one more thing, UK did beat LSU last year, an LSU team who by the way won the National Championship, so yes I do consider UK a a legit team.

That's classic. College basketball is my favorite sport. Does it get any better than March Madness? College basketball all day & baseball is getting in gear. Love it.
