I've never heard of Glenville Academy Campus, Coldwater or Central and Sycamore's not one of the Cincinnati teams you hear many people talking about...What do some of the NKy folks know about these teams?

Sycamore is a surprise to me... I did not know they were ranked so high in the nation. Sycamore is a very affluent school in the northern suburbs. Good match up for the birds next year?

Highlands was ranked preseason #23 by USAToday. They were dropped totally out of the USAToday Top 25 after their loss to Colerain according to this past Monday's paper. I also did not see them listed anymore in the regional USAToday rankings.

See, St. X is at 30 we're only at 74, barely even in the top 100. They are clearly the favorite. Now everyone please overlook the Rocks. :walk:

They should change the name to "Ginn"ville Academy. Should make the name more recognizable.

 

Sycamore is in the same league as Colerain and they have a very solid team this year. Two kids committed to Illinois, and quite a bit of talent across the board. We should know a lot more about their ranking in the very near future...

The Glenville Tarblooders are usually a very solid team. Beat Iggy last year in the Ohio D1 playoffs, before losing to Mentor, the eventual D1 runnerup.

 

Coldwater is D4 in Ohio and beat Mooney for the title last year. I can't be sure, but I think CovCath playeed Mooney this year...

Glennville's a feeder high school for Ohio State. Teddy Ginn and Troy Smith are two of the more famous players to go through. Ginn's father is the coach and I believe the one who resurrected the program.
