Do what? Wonder why'd they would do that? I know they are down but wouldn't figure they would forfeit.

Bethlehem got whipped pretty bad this past week, I just wonder if they are having problems with numbers. I can't see giving up the ghost even before the game, even though Corbin would be a HUGE favortie.

Don't know. just heard that Freshman Brady Foley has a broken bone between the foot and leg and will be out for a least 6 weeks.

I hate this for the kids who rarely get to play. This would have been an opportunity for some of them to get some playing time and for the coaches to evaluate some kids for depth purposes.

Bethlehem lost alot of players they had 16 whenCoach Jewell talked to them ang 6 of them were freshman. Brady Foley does have a broken bone but will be ok I look to see him back before the playoffs and coach Jewell has been doing some evaluatin way to go Corbin keep the wins coming The hounds are 3-0.

Is this confirmed? I hadn't heard this here locally.

Some parents of Corbin players told me this morning that it was announced at school today. No game on Friday and to enjoy the day off from practice. So it appears the game is a forfeit by Bethleham.

Any idea why they have fallen so far, so fast? They were 11-2 only two seasons ago and lost in the regional final to Danville.

 

Just numbers?

Unable to keep the athletes out. The two classes prior to this years had 25 boys between them. Less than half of those boys are still playing for one reason or another. Bethlehem's tough pre-district schedule has taken a toll on them the past two years.

This is just another reason why dropping Bell Co. was a bad decision....IMO. Corbin has no business playing a team who can barely field a team. Hopefully we will learn from this and move on.

Hindsight is 20/20. Apparently the Bell thing is a thing of the past and until someone gets a new coach, it wont be played. I would like to see Rock, Whitley, or preferably Harlan County added in place of Bethlehem, SL, or NL.
