September 10, 200818 yr Marty is ripping Jay Bruce for his outfield play, as he just threw a ball into 1st base dugout, trying to double off a runner, his 10th error already.
September 10, 200818 yr Author Marty is ripping Jay Bruce for his outfield play, as he just threw a ball into 1st base dugout, trying to double off a runner, his 10th error already. Typical. Someone should rip him when he's wrong in the booth.
September 10, 200818 yr Nevermind, I forgot the Reds still have 3 more with the Brewers in Cincinnati next week. Sabathia just doing his thing today, ho-hum.
September 10, 200818 yr Hairston Jr. 3 run bomb off CC and now Reds have 1st and 3rd, no outs. And didn't get one in...that could hurt today.
September 10, 200818 yr And didn't get one in...that could hurt today. As a Cub fan I would VERY, VERY much agree with that. They need to get those runs in darnit.
September 10, 200818 yr Reds were up 3-2 and Stormy lets up 2 in 8th and now Reds down to their last out.
September 10, 200818 yr Brew Crew strikes the side in the ninth, Reds lose. Bronson should have had win #15 (I think).
September 10, 200818 yr Yeah, it would have been Arroyo's 15th win. Dusty said that Dickerson has a bad ankle and won't play today (obviously). He's hoping Dickerson will be able to go on Friday, when the Reds face the D'Backs & Brandon Webb. On cincinnatireds.com, I read an interesting article where Dusty said that the new guys will get to play a lot more than he did when he came up. I wonder if Dusty is bitter about when he broke into the league, and that's why he refuses to play any of the younger guys on a regular basis? They're better than Bako & Corey Patterson. CC Sabathia is nasty, but it sounds like the Reds should've won this game.
September 10, 200818 yr The Reds still helped out the Cubs and reduced that magic number by 2. I appreciate their efforts and hopefully they can beat up on Milwaukee some more next week.
