What were the injuries and what are those players' status?

Our leading rusher (#21 Wagner) was out for the game before kickoff. 2nd leading rusher (#22 Steele) went down with a knee injury early. Starting QB has been out since before the season (Kicking and D only). Starting Center/Tackle out with a broken arm. It has been rough to get things going this year. I have no idea what we could do with all our pieces.

Wagner didn't play at all against Leslie?

I hate all these injuries for LC. I do believe they could make some noise if they get healthy. The young ones are getting some quality time though.

Wagner played against Leslie, was on the sidelines against Harlan County.

HCHS didn't break 50 on us, so I don't think we'll see 52 out of the Eagles. They may win, but I don't think it will be the kind of game we saw last week.

I've said it before, even Williamsburg's high powered offense doesen't score 52 on us, Kidd1, so I would really be shocked to see it out of Eagles and their running game.

We are still OK on D, and Campbellsville probably won't have the numbers to just wear us down and let it get ugly late.

I said this against Harlan County and I will say it again......

 

I just don't see 52 being put on the cats, they play hard and hit hard even when outmanned. Harlan hung 41 on them, and even with the injuries I don't see 52, that is 7 plus touchdowns. I would think that LC could hold on to the ball long enought to keep them from scoring that much on them.

Campbellsville 35-14.

Slink is probably closer with the people we currently have out. Could get closer as we find out who we get back for this week.

 

TM, you are right. Drives will keep the score down. Score nor not, the extended run game eats up a lot of clock, and I don't see us going out and looking for a shootout with anyone anytime soon.

To be honest, I don't see 35 points being scored between the two. Both teams play good, solid defense. Campbellsville lost a close one against their cross town rival ( Taylor Co. ) this past week. Had 5 turnovers. That is disappointing in itself. C-Ville coaching staff has watched Lynn Camp on film and is impressed. The staff expects an all out war Friday night. That is all I know right now. What's going on "Daddy Cat " You making the trip?

We're a little in flux for friday right now.

In fact, just discussed the trip last night. Going to try to make it, I think.

 

Haven't heard much out of you so far this year, EN.

I know the Eagles will be ready. I just hope we start to get kids back from the M*A*S*H unit to give Y'all a fight friday.

Turnovers are a killer, just ask MC who is averaging around 4 per game!

I think the Wildcats will have enough to win 21-13.Why does it seem that theylose so many good players each year to injurys good luck Wildcats.

Numbers are low, good athletes play both ways. 2 edged sword. That and just plain bad luck.
