Bunny, Cow, or Real McBird?

Featured Replies

In Colerain's mind were the Birds a bunny, just a Harbin Cow or the real McCoy?

I read in the paper where the Colerain coach told Coach Mueller nothing new, we are going to run the Triple and the 50 Slant. It just got me thinking how serious Colerain took Highlands and if they look at the Birds as a Harbin Cow and not necessarily a real opponent.

Anyone?

Harbin Cow. Great scheduling by Colerain.

I suppose Highlands could be a Cow and a Real McBird or a Bunny and a Cow but they can't be a Bunny and a Real McBird.

I'm sure they prepared hard but its also fair to say that while it may not be true some of the players probably thought it was a bunny. Its natural after coming off 2 wins against strong big-school teams from football-rich states.

I would say that Colorain looked at Highlands the way that Highlands looks most of their opponents. Somewhat Ironic.

Note: I'm not bashing Highlands, just stating my observations.

I'd say a cow first and foremost, you know they were drooling over the Harbin points.

Bunny or Real McBird? Somewhere in between, but not quite halfway in between. Like something more scary than a bunny, but not scary enough to keep you awake at night. Maybe a bunny with a Chuck Norris beard.

I don't think that a team like Colerain will ever "fear" Highlands until Highlands defeats a Cincy power.
