Frankfort 19 Williamsburg 14

Featured Replies

Saw this from a different angle and it was a fumble for sure.

The Jackets beat themselves in this one. Congrats to Frankfort.

Not sure how this is a true statement. Defense cause bad throws that lead to int's. Defense made tackles and forced fumbles.

Just like it would not be a true statement if I said FHS kept themsevles from scoring more points.

Nice to meet you Bluto... I'm looking foward to meeting alot more BGPer's.

FHS staff you have athletes put em on the Field.

Not sure who you want on the field, but trust me when I say there were plenty of athletes on the field.

No one unparticular just when guys go down with Cramps get some young bloods in the game.

Congrats Panthers!!!!!:dancingpa

Young Bloods have to come to practice to be understand what is going on.

Or a bad throw. It was a tough catch to make. It was on the back shoulder of the WR.

Ok I will maybe give you that one LOL, but how about the fumbled toss sweep on that same series that looked to be a walk into the endzone if he hangs onto the ball...

You are correct. That was a TD.

:thumb: It was a good game and congrats to Frankfort, good luck the rest of the way...

Giving up 14 to an Explosive offense, and scoring a Defensive TD, is a great defensive outing.....Hall and Tillman had insurance policies on the Receivers form W-B...They had them covered......:dancingpa

Are you serious, they couldn't stop the passing game. That #13 from W'burg was everywhere. He even had one catch for almost 80 yds that was a td.

I wouldn't be surprised if he had almost 150 rec. yards on them.

Couldn't stop the passing game??? You and I must have been at different games.

I think someone said Williamsburg was in the red zone 3 or 4 times. From what I have been told Williamsburg pretty much went up and down on the field on them at will but would then make mistakes in the red zone. Of course that is from a friend at Williamsburg so he may be a bit biased.

Were the mistakes mistakes, or were they forced by the pressure Frankfort was bringing?

Good game by both teams. Things to work on, but both should have very solid years. That last pass for Williamsburg that was dropped in the endzone was a very difficult ball to catch. I was right on the home team sideline. The receiver had to catch the ball just inches from the ground and had to lay out to do it. I saw the fumble for a touchdown, and it was a good call. The ball came loose immediately from the hit.

Frankfort's running game was getting held in check pretty well by Williamsburg's D the whole night. Frankfort's passing D was having one of the better nights I've seen it have in years against a team that does a good job mixing up pass and run. Didn't give up the big play too often.

Hats off to both teams. Riveting game that came down to the last minute. Can't ask for more on a Friday night. Still might have been close if #11 (Hall) had not cramped up in the middle of a play and allowed for a long pass, or if Frankfort hadn't got that long touchdown pass to Tillman in the last seconds of the first half. Could have been 12 - 6 or something.

Williamsburg had five turnovers. Int. in the redzone, snap over the Qb's head in the redzone, fumble returned for a TD ,a fumble on Frankfort's 25, and a fumble on a kickoff return. Williamsburg had over 400 yards offense, around 250 passing and 150 rushing. they had a chance to win the game on the last drive but a fumble on a wide open sweep and a dropped ball in the endzone cost them the win.
