Obama and Khallid Mansour

Featured Replies

Feel free to label this as another Obama bashing thread but before you do, please view both of the following videos first. Kalid Mansour is not a casual acquaintance of Barack Hussein Obama and neither are Bill Ayers or mutual Mansour and Obama friend, Tony Rezko.

WOW

Those are two brilliant speakers:rolleyes:

The first one can classify Obama as a genius from a letter and the second is a racist in the same light as Farakhan.

I've watched this a few times and read the transcripts on other sites but I'm confused about one thing Percy Suttons says. He says he was introduced to Obama by Mansour when he was raising money for him.

Why would Mansour have been raising money for him when he was trying to get into Harvard?

Most of Khalid Al Mansour's speeches available on Youtube are very long. I thought about posting one of his longer speeches but I did not think many people would spend more than an hour watching it.

Is this association any less than the McCain/Hagee association? That's the Hagee that said the Catholic church should be called "The Great (insert slang word for prostitute)." He also said the Catholic church was "the anti-Christ" and "a false cult system."

If your point is that candidates have bedfellows that they should shun, I'm in complete agreement.

Obama did not go straight to Harvard after getting his undergraduate degree.

Barack Obama Timeline

[1982]

After graduation, Barack Obama takes a job with a Chicago based group called Developing Communities Project. Barack begins working to improve the conditions of a public housing project.

Barack Obama successfully carries out several projects, including school reform, hazardous waste cleanup and establishing a job training center.

Barack Obama applies and accepted to Harvard Law School. He takes student loans to pay his tuition.

Obama did not go straight to Harvard after getting his undergraduate degree.

1. Are then to assume that Mansour was raising money for one of Obama's projects?

2. Hagee?

Are you kidding? Khalid Al Mansour, a radical Muslim with close ties to radical Muslims in Saudi Arabia pulled strings to help Obama get into Harvard Law School - and you see that as no different than Hagee endorsing McCain in a campaign?

Obama closely associated with a long list of extremists as an adult who should have known better. It certainly is not far-fetched to believe that Obama agrees with many of the views of his close personal friends and associates.

Having the Communist Party or Black Panthers endorse Obama is no cause for concern to me and neither is Hagee's endorsement of McCain. If I learned that McCain personally helped advance David Duke's career or vice-versa, then that would be a horse of a different color. Obama's close associations with people like Mansour are horses of another color.

It is a question that you and other undecided voters should be asking Obama and his packagers.

2. Hagee?
A red herring.

A red herring.

Classic avoidance response on your part.

You point out an ugly association and I counter and I'm the one throwing out the red herring. Beautiful. Both IMO are equally ugly yet you only post one of them knowing full well that the Hagee issue has been out there.

Show that McCain's relationship with Hagee was a close one and you would have a point. The two men's bigotry may or may not be on the same level, but in terms of closeness, the relationships are in different area coded, as are Obama's relationships with Wright and Ayers.

Nice one. We're now talking a matter of degrees and nuance.

John Hagee, the controversial evangelical leader and endorser of Sen. John McCain, argued in a late 1990s sermon that the Nazis had operated on God's behalf to chase the Jews from Europe and shepherd them to Palestine. According to the Reverend, Adolph Hitler was a "hunter," sent by God, who was tasked with expediting God's will of having the Jews re-establish a state of Israel.

McCain, at least in the public record, has sought to thread the needle with the Hagee association: distancing himself from the controversial comment while reaping the political benefits of the Reverend's endorsement. Appearing on ABC's "'This Week" in late April 2008, McCain criticized Hagee's past remarks on the Catholic Church, but said that, "I admire and appreciate his advocacy for the state of Israel, the independence of the state of Israel."

Does your Google key only work "sometimes"?

You don't get to use Hagee on this one. That horse was beat to death justifing Obama's close FREINDSHIP with Rev Wright.

Just in case anyone is keeping score...

Obama - 4 radical associations/friends

McCain - 1 endorsement from a bigot

Funny how you consider Obama's all "associations/friends" and McCains is just an "endorsement".

I'm growing very weary of a new Obama-bashing thread every day.
