Epic Text Message Fail? Media Gets Biden News Hours Before Supporters

I still do not think Romney is a safe pick.

The guy finished 3rd in the primary for a reason.

Romney was second in the delegate count when he suspended his campaign thanks in part to Huckabee's decision to act as McCain's hatchet man. Fortunately, it is extremely unlikely that Huckster will be rewarded for his efforts. McCain recognized early that Romney was his main competition in the Republican field and that is why he is the leading candidate for his running mate. Romney would be as safe a pick as McCain could make.

Romney was on the downhill slide and Huckabee was climbing that mountain. Romney left cause he knew he had minimal support from the Republican voters.

On the 3:00 AM thing, just read a piece of real clear politics that some Hillary supporters are saying the 3:00 release of the text is a slam at Hillary with her 3:00 AM ad she ran AGAINST Obama.

Romney withdrew from the race when it became obvious to anybody with a brain that McCain had the nomination in the bag. Huckabee continued to run, and that is when he picked up many of his delegates and edged Romney in the final delegate count. Huckabee was never a serious contender for the nomination and McCain played him like a fiddle against Romney.

Huckabee seriously damaged his chances of ever being president by his conduct. I will never consider voting for him and many conservatives share my dim view of Huckabee.

Not to mention Romney's support was truly derived from the void of a field without a thoroughbred conservative. His back-pedaling on his previous progressive stances seemed to be glossed over when voters faced the reality they were choosing between him, Huckabee, or McCain.

Personally, if there were a FEMALE that McCain could put on the ticket, especially a moderate looking female that would still be pro-life, I think some Hillary supporters would be running to vote for McCain to get back at Obama.

Not sure if there are any out there but heard the lady behind Ebay as a candidate.

Personally, I think Condi Rice is the person that could help the most.

Does anyone actually think Obama himself sent the text message? Maybe a young intern isn't ready to be President.

Looks like I was right. It turned out to be lame after all.

If Obama cannot handle sending a text message, what makes you think that he should be running the country? The text message failure coupled with the stupid selection of Joe Biden as his running mate should cause even the most ardent Obama supporters to have second thoughts.

You've got to be kidding me. A strident supporter of the most incompetent president of the last 70 years nitpicking about the timing of a text message? Does anyone else see a striking irony here?

Surely, with such keen ability to spot dangerously unqualified candidates, you must have noticed similar warning signs of incompetence from Bush before he trashed our international reputation, exploded the national debt, started an unnecessary trillion dollar war, wore out the military, and ran roughshod over the Constitution?

Perhaps he missed a beltloop or accidentally put on mismatched socks.

But wait...the elitist, liberal, marxist, communist, socialist democrats are to blame for all of those problems...

Right?

 That is a truly funny mischaracterization. I have stated more than once that Bush has been an average president. In fact, I cannot think of any conservative posters who have not faulted Bush on his failed immigration policy and out of control domestic spending, for example.

I am a strong supporter of capitalism, conservatism, and personal liberty. That puts me at odds with left wingers most of the time, which may possibly explain your apparent confusion.

As for the most incompetent president of the last 70 years, I can only speak of the presidents of my lifetime and James Earl Carter is hands down the most incompetent president during that period of time.

I will pass on responding to the rest of your obstreperous assertions.

Somebody with a dictionary tell me what that means?:D;):sssh:
