Everyone and their brother knows who Joe Biden is and the baggage he comes with. And, for whatever reason, the public has decided that they are willing to look past those issues, lest he wouldn't be a well known, popular senator. The Edward Kennedy conundrum. Unless Biden shoots his mouth off before November, his nomination as Obama's running mate will be exactly what it was meant to be: suitable.

Most people outside of Delaware had never heard of Joe Biden before Obama put him on the ticket. The man did not get many votes in the primaries and he is not running for a Senate seat in Delaware. Voters who are familiar with Biden need to be reminded about the baggage that he is packing - and they will be.

Hasn't someone already brought up the McCain plagerism stuff. Why is this coming back around? Has Biden just recently plagerized something? It's old. Older than Biden.

I am sure that recipe theft by a candidate's wife will be a big issue in this campaign. God forbid if Sarah Palin or her husband ever shared her family's favorite recipes. If she did, I am sure that the Daily Kos is hot on the case. :lol:

Did anyone else see where Biden stated his wife was killed by a drunk driver?

While in fact the driver was not drunk, Bidens wife pulled out from a stop sign in front of the trucker. I would be upset if I was the truck driver, he already has to live with knowing an accident involving him killed Bidens wife and kid.
